A summary

This immersive session is designed to guide participants through a holistic journey of movement, breath, and profound rest. Combining traditional yoga practice with modern insights into deep relaxation techniques, this experience offers a balanced approach to physical well-being and mental clarity.

Course Breakdown:

1. Embodied Yoga Practice (1 Hour)
We begin with a traditional yoga practice focused on mindful movement, breath awareness, and self-observation. This session will encourage:
• Gentle asana (postures) to cultivate stability and ease in the body.
• Pranayama (breathwork) techniques to deepen awareness and regulate energy.
• A somatic approach to body awareness, refining sensitivity to movement, sensations, and tension patterns.
This phase serves as a preparation for stillness, allowing the body to release unnecessary effort before transitioning into deeper states of rest.

2. Nourishing Pause – Tea & Snacks (20-30 minutes)
A break to replenish and connect. Enjoy warm herbal teas and light snacks as we take a moment to reflect and integrate the physical practice. This is also an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, or simply recharge in a supportive space.

3. Theoretical & Practical Introduction to Non-Sleep Deep Rest (Yoga Nidra) (1.5 Hours)
In the final segment, we introduce Yoga Nidra, a systematic relaxation practice that facilitates deep physiological and mental restoration.
• Understanding Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR): A modern, research-supported concept that aligns with the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra, helping to reset the nervous system.
• The Science & Benefits: How Yoga Nidra enhances sleep, reduces stress, improves focus, and fosters emotional balance.
• Guided Experience: Participants will be led through a full Yoga Nidra session, lying comfortably while being guided into a deeply relaxed, yet aware, state.
