An exciting residential stay at the Horstead Centre who provide an action packed programme of activities including climbing, crate stacking, bush craft cookery and much more. This will be a fun filled break away where young people will get the opportunity to socialise, build confidence away from home and work together developing skills for life.
Come and experience a day in our allotment, spend your time learning about what happens there month by month and get stuck in! You will get the chance to plant a sunflower and make a bird feeder learning how vital these are for nature in our homes and communities. Finish the day by making a delicious snack.
Take part in one of our fun cookery workshops, learn how to create delicious meals from scratch using fresh ingredients and develop skills for life. And the best part, you can eat what you make!
An exciting and creative day where you can get involved in a whole range of fun games and activities, followed by the opportunity to sharpen those cookery skills or even try something new!
