A summary
This Summer Holiday, escape the hustle and bustle of city life and dive into the wild with our Forest School Wild Weeks! Designed for children aged 5-11 years old, these fun-filled sessions offer a chance to explore, create, and connect with nature—right here in West London. This year we're based in Belmont Primary School's Forest School site, a lovely wooded area complete with two huts, a fire pit and plenty of space for us to craft and play. From crafting with natural materials to building dens, climbing trees, bug hunts and cooking up a storm in the mud kitchen, your child will enjoy the freedom to play and discover in a safe and inspiring setting. With plenty of hands-on activities, they’ll learn about wildlife, develop new skills, and make lasting memories outdoors. Let your little adventurers swap screen time for green time! Our Wild Weeks are the perfect antidote to busy school schedules and city life, fostering a love for the outdoors and giving kids the chance to recharge in nature. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at hello@waysofthewilduk.com.

Reconnecting city folk with nature <3
Ways of the Wild's mission is to reconnect city folk with nature through events and workshops. We are based in London, conjuring up outdoor adventures for adults, children and our wonderful WotW community throughout the year.
What to bring
Make sure your child is wearing weather-appropriate clothing and footwear that is comfortable, and you're happy to get mucky. Depending on the forecast, that could mean sun hats, raincoats, or both, so make sure you check the forecast the night before and the morning of. We always recommend bringing waterproof shoes and overalls as it gives your child the freedom to get involved in whatever messy play they want without being uncomfortable or getting cold. Please ensure that you also pack spare clothes and extra layers as we don't carry any spare clothing on site. We will provide a selection of fruit and other healthy snack options for the morning and afternoon. We do not provide a lunch option, so please prepare a packed lunch and a water bottle. If your child does not come prepared as described above, we reserve the right to refuse entrance to our camp.
