Summer Holiday activity days block mentored by Uncle Pauls Chilli Farm Charity

A summary

Sessions will include Our holiday club sessions are packed with hands-on outdoor learning experiences, led by qualified practitioners in small groups. Young people can enjoy a rotation of outdoor workshops that will cover: - Animal interactions with our range of animals, encourage responsibility, gentle exercise, and bonding. We have the following animals onsite horses, llamas, goats, rabbits, sheep and chickens. - Forest school & horticulture: practical skills, creative seasonal projects, and nature-based learning. - Outdoor cooking: preparing healthy meals over an open fire. All planned to build resilience, flexibility, teamwork and FUN! Each day combines physical, creative, and wellbeing activities, with nutritious snacks and lunches provided to keep everyone fuelled and engaged. All our activities will be outside with limited indoor space we make the very most of the outdoors, please ensure you are ‘all weather ready’ with suitable change of footwear, and waterproof clothing plus sun cream and a water bottle . As the session will include animal interactions it is important that your young person is not scared of and wants to engage with the animals! Our holiday club is bursting with hands-on outdoor adventures, led by qualified practitioners in small supportive groups. Please do let us know at time of booking if your young person has SEND support at school and if 1:1 or 1:2 so we can ensure we have the correct staffing ratios to meet need and ensure everyone's safety around the animals and farm. We can offer a Minibus pick up on the day from Banwell BS29 and Churchill BS25 area. Exact locations and timings to be at time of booking and confirmation of place. Please indicate on booking form if transport is required. We will make contact with you ahead of the booking to confirm the finer details

Empowering Growth Through Horses

Exodus Equine is a dedicated organisation providing Equine Assisted Development to support individuals experiencing trauma, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and mental health challenges. Through the unique connection between humans and animals, we create a safe, nurturing environment where participants can rebuild trust, develop confidence, and enhance emotional resilience. Alongside our gentle and intuitive horses, we also work with llamas, goats, and pigs, whose calm and curious natures enrich the therapeutic experience. Our tailored programs combine animal-assisted learning with evidence-based development approaches, empowering each individual to find strength, healing, and personal growth through meaningful connection with our animals.

Uncle Paul’s Chilli Farm with Exodus Equine – Activity Day FAQs 1. What is the Activity Day? It’s a fun filled, friendly day on the farm with outdoor activities, crafts, and workshops including nature, seasonal creativity and well-being. 2. Who can book in for these sessions ? HAF eligible families 3. What activities are available? Activities include nature walks, animal interactions, crafts, — plus delicious food and drinks cooked over the fire! 4. What should we bring? Comfortable outdoor clothing, waterproofs (just in case!), and sturdy footwear. Don’t forget reusable water bottles to keep you hydrated. 5. Is food and drink available? Yes! We’ll provide you lunch and have snacks and drinks available throughout the session. 6. Is the event accessible? We aim to make the event as accessible as possible; we are on a working farm that is based on a hillside, so the ground is uneven and muddy! — please contact us in advance if you have any specific mobility or access needs. 7. How can we get to you? We will provide minibus transport for the sessions, routes and pick up points will be confirmed when we have the confirmed numbers. 8. What happens if it rains? We’ll go ahead rain or shine — some activities are under cover with the main being fully outdoors, so please dress for the weather.
