There are now three types of Free School Meals: - Universal FSM – for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Not eligible for HAF. - Targeted FSM – benefits-related FSM. Eligible for HAF. - Expanded FSM – includes more families receiving Universal Credit. Not eligible for HAF. You can check your eligibility for Targeted Free School Meals via your child(s) school.
