North Somerset HAF #HAF2025

We will be launching our Summer holiday HAF programme on 10th June 2025 at 9am. Children and young people who receive benefits-related free school meals are entitled to free HAF activity days. Each session is a minimum of four hours. A meal is provided without any further charge to parents. Understanding Free School Meals (FSM) for Children There are two types of FSM available for children: 1. Benefits Related Free School Meals qualifies a child for free HAF activities 2. Universal Free School Meals does not qualify a child for free HAF activities Benefits Related FSM are available for children from families receiving certain qualifying benefits. Unlike Universal Free School Meals, these require parent/carers to apply. Besides providing meals during the school term, qualifying children also gain access to funded Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) sessions. Families can determine their eligibility by visiting the North Somerset Council website.
