Have you always wanted to go camping with the kids, but don't know where to start? Or maybe you'd just love to connect with like-minded families? Whatever brings you here, you are warmly invited to our first Summer Camp Out!
We'll be taking a small group of families to a private woodland just 1.5 hours out of London for a weekend of wild exploration, earth skills and immersion into nature.
As your hosts, we'll be offering multiple activities and moments in the day which you are welcome to participate in, but attendance is absolutely not required! This is your time to connect with the woods in whatever way and to whatever schedule feels right for you and your family.
We'll focus on bushcraft basics to make you feel more prepared to venture into the wilderness again and again. This may include fire lighting, knots, shelter, toolwork, navigation or water filtering. Foraging lessons will also feature: for food, for medicine or for craft.
You will, of course, always have the option to walk any of the local hikes, or lie in a hammock for several hours.
In the evening we'll gather around the fire for dinner and see where the night takes us. Bedtimes may or may not be flung out the window. Songs may or may not be sung. Stories may or may not be told. Either way, we'll keep the fire going!
