A summary
A Sportworks Short Break provision includes a wide variety of sports, games, and fun activities for children & young people with SEN and disabilities. Examples include dodgeball, parachute games, team building activities. The sessions are for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years.
Places are available only for children and young people who have an EHCP plan.
Staff Ratio 1:4 - please note that this is a group based project and we are unable to accommodate children who require 1:1 care unless specifically agreed in advance. Please do not select a 1:4 ticket if your child requires 1:1 support. The booking will be rejected.
To ensure we are able to provide a fun, safe and rewarding activity, please provide as much information as possible when making the booking request.

Eligibility Criteria
This activity is for children and young people who meet the targeted short breaks eligibility criteria:
- 5 - 19 years old
- Southwark resident
- With an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
- Unable to access universal services and/ or require additional support to do so
Staff training & experience
All staff are suitably qualified to deliver this provision to children with SEND. All staff go through a rigorous induction training before stepping inside a Sportworks provision.
All staff are highly experienced, with a large majority of our staff working in special schools during the week.
