Fun Day at North Denes – SEND & Complex Needs Holiday Camp Looking for a fun, safe and stimulating school holiday provision for children with SEND and complex needs? Join us at North Denes School for action-packed days full of laughter, learning and meaningful experiences – all delivered with specialist support tailored to each child. What We Get Up To… Our holiday camp is designed to balance fun, sensory stimulation and structured support, including: ✨ Arts & crafts ✨ Sensory play stations ✨ Music and movement sessions ✨ Messy play & creative exploration ✨ Outdoor games and team challenges ✨ Baking and food preparation ✨ Themed activity days ✨ Calm zones for regulation and downtime We understand that every child is unique – which is why our activities are adapted to meet a wide range of abilities and communication styles.

Community Adventure Days – Let’s Get Out & Explore! At John Grant School Holiday Provision, we don’t just stay indoors… we head out into the community for fresh air, fun and real-life experiences! Our Community Adventure Days give children with SEND and complex needs the opportunity to explore safely with specialist support. Beach Trips There’s nothing better than the seaside! We enjoy: Sand play and sensory exploration Fresh air walks along the promenade Bucket and spade fun Ice cream treats Water play (weather dependent) Beach trips provide brilliant sensory input and opportunities for social interaction in a natural environment. Park Visits Our park days are full of movement and laughter: Accessible play equipment Ball games and team play Nature spotting Picnic lunches Gentle walks Perfect for building confidence, physical skills and friendships. Woodland & Nature Walks For children who love calmer environments, our door and woodland walks offer: Nature trails Bug hunting Leaf and flower collecting Photo challenges Quiet regulation time outdoors These trips support emotional wellbeing, regulation and independence. Fully Supported, Always Safe Every community trip includes: ✔ Individualised risk assessments ✔ Trained SEND & complex needs staff ✔ Appropriate staff ratios ✔ Behaviour and sensory support ✔ Clear structure and visual planning ✔ Safe transport arrangements We promote independence and positive risk-taking while ensuring children are supported every step of the way.
