What we'll do
Preparing Pathways Holiday Club provides a fun, safe, and supportive holiday provision for children aged 5–18 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our holiday club is designed to create positive experiences in a nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable, build confidence, make friendships, and most importantly, have fun. All children are supported by experienced staff who understand a wide range of needs and adapt activities to suit individual abilities and interests. Activities include: Cooking and food activities – developing independence and life skills Sports and physical play – encouraging movement, coordination, and teamwork Arts and crafts – creative activities to support self-expression Access to a variety of spaces – including areas for active play, creativity, and quiet time Social activities – building friendships, communication skills, and confidence Activities are carefully planned to balance structure with choice, ensuring children feel supported while having the freedom to explore what they enjoy.

Hi, we are Jenny and Zara. Between us we have 35 years experience in the field of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and since meeting 4 years ago, we found that our values align perfectly when it comes to ensuring that young people with SEND get access to the best provision available and get the best opportunities to thrive in their communities. Our inspiration is always our students on a daily basis; however, this March we were lucky enough to take a group of inspirational individuals on an accessible residential. We both felt that it was the best thing we have EVER done! Seeing our students flourish, thrive and exceed our expectations brought so much pride and joy to us. We wanted to continue to provide this experience for young people with SEND. We want to be realistic and support our young people's needs, but also stretch them to meet their capabilities so that they can meet their potential. We recognise the challenges faced by parents in terms of the lack of specialised, affordable provision and so we aim to provide experiences that are meaningful, challenging, fun and affordable for families. Always with the progression of young people at our hearts.
