A summary

The Southwark HAF Summer Programme 2026 offers young people aged 8–16 an exciting range of activities, including music production, DJing, songwriting, creative arts, sports, games, wellbeing sessions, team challenges, and healthy eating workshops. Delivered in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment, the programme helps young people build confidence, develop new skills, make positive friendships, and enjoy a fun, enriching, and memorable summer holiday experience. What We Offer Our Summer HAF Programme runs from 27th July to 20th August 2026 and includes a wide variety of engaging activities designed to cater to different interests, abilities, and learning styles: Music Production, DJing & Songwriting Young people will learn how to create beats, write lyrics, record vocals, DJ, and develop their own original music using professional equipment and industry-standard software. Performance, Confidence & Self-Expression Workshops Opportunities to develop presentation skills, build confidence, improve communication, and express ideas creatively through music and performance. Creative Arts & Wellbeing Activities Art, design, creative projects, journaling, and reflective activities that encourage self-expression, emotional wellbeing, resilience, and positive mental health. Healthy Eating & Nutrition Young people receive a nutritious meal each day while learning about healthy eating, food choices, wellbeing, and positive habits that support physical and emotional health. Friendship, Social Skills & Personal Development Structured activities designed to encourage teamwork, communication, problem-solving, respect, and the development of positive relationships with peers and trusted adults.

We work with children and young people experiencing barriers to learning linked to emotional dysregulation, sensory processing difficulties, communication challenges, anxiety, disengagement, attendance concerns, behavioural escalation, physical disabilities, and complex additional needs that impact their ability to consistently access education and participate positively within school.

Through music, creativity, and the arts, we empower children and young people to: • Build confidence, self-esteem, and emotional resilience • Develop teamwork, communication, and social skills • Discover new interests, talents, and creative passions • Strengthen their sense of identity, belonging, and purpose • Improve wellbeing through positive self-expression and achievement • Create lasting friendships and positive memories during the school holidays Our aim is simple: to inspire young people to recognise their potential, celebrate their individuality, and develop the confidence to thrive both now and in the future.
