Wednesday 22nd July. Minecraft Education Parkour. Jump into the world of Minecraft Education and build your own thrilling parkour challenge! In this exciting coding adventure, students will program their character to jump across platforms, navigate tricky obstacles, and race to the finish without falling. Along the way, they’ll design and create their very own custom parkour course while developing problem-solving, coding, and computational thinking skills in a fun and interactive Minecraft world. Thursday 23rd July. Micro:bit Hide and Seek. Can you code the ultimate seeker? In our exciting Micro:bit Hide and Seek session, students will programme one Micro:bit to hunt down and locate a hidden Micro:bit using coding, signals, and problem-solving skills. Packed with teamwork, technology, and plenty of fun, this interactive challenge brings coding to life in a thrilling game of high-tech hide and seek! Wednesday 29th July. Minecraft Education Research. In this exciting Minecraft Education research challenge, students will explore the world of food and survival by investigating different foods, where they can be found, how much health they restore, and how they affect energy levels in the game. Using coding and problem-solving skills, children can even programme the Agent to help collect or create food items as they build their understanding of research, data, and automation within the Minecraft world. Thursday 30th July. Stop Motion Animation. Bring stories to life in our exciting Stop Motion Animation session! Using LEGO characters, figures, and creative props, children will plan, create, and film their very own stop motion movie. From action scenes to funny adventures, students will explore animation techniques, storytelling, and digital creativity while producing a fantastic mini film frame by frame. Wednesday 5th August Minecraft Education Pixal Art. Get creative in our Minecraft Education Pixel Art session! Students will use Minecraft blocks to design and build amazing pixel art creations inspired by their favourite characters, mobs, and items, from Steve to Creepers, zombies and more. Using creativity, problem-solving, and coding skills, children can even program the Agent to help construct their artwork automatically in the Minecraft world. Thursday 6th August. Robotics Adventure. Get ready for a hands-on robotics adventure with our Micro:bit line following robots session! Students will programme robots to follow tracks and pathways using clever coding and sensors before designing and creating their very own roads and courses on paper. From twisting turns to exciting challenges, children will explore robotics, coding, and problem-solving in a fun and interactive way. Wednesday 12th August. Micro:bit Reaction Game. Test your speed in our exciting Micro:bit Reaction Game challenge! Students will build their very own game controller using cardboard, tin foil, crocodile clips, and Micro:bits before coding a fast-paced reaction game to play against their teammates. With quick reflexes, teamwork, and hands-on creativity, children will discover how coding and electronics can be turned into a fun, competitive game. Thursday 13th August. Tinkercad Gaming Room. Design the ultimate dream gaming room in our exciting Tinkercad 3D design challenge! Children will use their creativity to build an awesome bedroom or gaming setup complete with desks, gaming PCs, consoles, LED lights, posters, gadgets, and more. Using real 3D design tools, students will explore digital creativity, problem-solving, and design skills while bringing their perfect gaming space to life. Wednesday 19th August. In this fun KS2 coding project, children will design characters, collect summer items, answer quiz questions, add music, and build an interactive game while developing their programming skills through step-by-step challenges. At Jam Coding, we run fun and inspiring holiday clubs across Worcestershire and Herefordshire, blending digital creativity with hands-on activities to create an unforgettable experience for children. Activity Description: Our holiday clubs offer an exciting mix of coding, animation, and digital design, alongside engaging offline activities, including crafts, sports, and puzzles. Every activity, whether online or offline, is designed with an underlying theme of healthy living, encouraging children to develop both their digital and physical skills. We’ve carefully structured our timetable to ensure a balanced 50/50 split between screen-based learning and hands-on creative play, giving children the best of both worlds in a safe, engaging, and enriching environment.
