A summary
PRE-REQUISITE: Must have previous experience (e.g. completed our Paddlesport Week or have the British Canoeing Explore Award, or equivalent). This week long combined course helps you to develop skills previously learnt on the Paddlesport Week Course. Your your journey will take you through the first two British Canoeing Paddle Awards and finishes with you having the skills allowing you to choose where you move next in the world of paddlesport. You will be able to develop existing skills with a programme that suits your needs, learning to make confident choices with this individualised approach. This award recognises your ability to independently paddle your chosen craft in a sheltered water environment.

Set within the beautiful Whitlingham Country Park, Whitlingham Adventure offers a range of fun and adventurous water and land based activities for both children and adults. We are a RYA training centre as well as Paddle UK delivery partner, supporting hundreds of young people in developing their skills on the water every year. How to find us.
There is no direct road access to the centre except for disabled access. Lime Avenue car park is the nearest car park to us and there is a short walk to the centre. The centre is located on the eastern end of Whitlingham Great Broad. Car parking charges apply to all users, but Whitlingham Country Park operates a 25-minute grace period for customers of Whitlingham Adventure. If you stay longer than 25 minutes, please see the charging tariffs and terms at the pay and display machines. Disabled access: Please contact us in advance to make arrangements if required.
