A summary
HADO is like real-life video game dodgeball where you wear AR headsets and armbands to shoot magical energy balls at opponents while dodging their attacks! Imagine throwing digital fireballs in a real room, using shields, and battling teammates in fast 80-second matches that feel like an epic multiplayer game come to life!
This day will be packed with energy and enrichment, combining HADO in the morning and basketball and other activities for all skill levels at Finham Park 2 School in the afternoon. (Coventry HADO Arena is across the road from the School site).
Alongside the games/sports action, kids will gain valuable insights into nutrition and well-being, making these experience days a perfect blend of physical activity and personal growth.
Day Outline:
10.00 - Arrive at Coventry HADO for registration in reception (Wolfe Road, CV4 9UP)
10.30 - Introduction of HADO and Teams organised
10.30 - 12.30 - HADO Game Play in the Arena
12.30 - Walk across to Finham Park 2 School for Hot Lunch
13.00 - Well-Being and nutrition education
13.30 - 15.00 Basketball + Dodgeball Sessions in Sports Hall
15.30 - All Participants Depart Finham Park 2 (Torrington Ave, CV4 9WT)

What to Wear and What to Bring?
If you have a Guardian Ballers T-shirt, PLEASE WEAR IT! If you've never participated in a GB programme and do not have a T-shirt, we will give you one. Wear trainers and clothing to participate in sport/games.
Please bring a water bottle which we can refill on site.
