Forest School Gathering May 2026 block mentored by Surrey Forest School Association

What we'll do

During our 2026 May Gathering you will be able to share with likeminded people forest school skills and crafts. There will be opportunities for you to practice fire lighting, using tools and cooking techniques, crafts including willow work, games, songs and stories. If you have any particular skills you would like our trainers to focus on please let us know. Thank you to the Northmead School for letting us use their venue, which will be an opportunity to see two sites and how forest school is developed throughout the school years. Cost for FSA Members is £21.00 and those doing their FS Training is £21.00. Cost for non FSA members is £26.00 which includes all refreshments, cooked lunch, equipment, materials and the booking fee. Anyone on low income please do not let the cost be a barrier and contact us for support. A delicious Lunch cooked on the open fire is provided, and there is always some very yummy cake! Please remember to bring your own plate/bowl/kfs and not forgetting your mug, and remember to complete the dietary requirements in the booking details. We are the Forest School Association local branch for Surrey based forest school practitioners and those in training for their Forest School levels 2/3 in our area. We run gatherings for our members to share skills, learn new ones, network and make friendships. New members are welcome to join and take an active role with our group.
