Learning in Action

Delta Four Next Gen

Delta Four Next Gen provides engaging, inclusive activities for children and young people through holiday clubs, coaching sessions and education programmes based at Delta Four Skatepark in Norwich. We use wheeled action sports, recreational sports, team games and challenges alongside creative activities, wellbeing mentoring and education to help young people build confidence, develop new skills and make lasting friendships in a safe and supportive environment. Healthy lifestyles are at the heart of our programme. Through nutritious hot meals, healthy snacks, hydration stations and our interactive "Fuel the Rider" activities, children learn about nutrition, make smoothies, explore healthier energy choices and discover the importance of staying fuelled and hydrated for an active lifestyle. We design our sessions to be accessible to a wide range of ages, abilities and interests. Alongside scooter sessions and coaching, introductory sessions and games on skateboards and BMX’s children will also take part in creative workshops, games, education and wellbeing activities that encourage teamwork, resilience and self-expression. Our relationship-centred approach ensures every child feels welcomed, valued and supported to participate at their own pace. Activities are adapted to meet a range of needs, including SEND and SEMH, with calm spaces and regulation opportunities available throughout the day. Led by experienced, passionate staff, we create a positive environment where every young person from complete beginners or experienced riders is inspired to be active, creative, more confident and resilient and most importantly, we ensure everyone leaves with a smile. Every child is encouraged to move, create, connect and thrive as part of the Delta Four Next Gen community.
