Basketball Camp (6-12 years) Attending a basketball camp with Great Yarmouth Basketball Club is the perfect way to have fun, make new friends and improve your basketball skills during the school holidays. Each camp includes a mix of skill and personal development, competitions and gameplay. - This camp is at East Norfolk Sixth Form College (NR31 7BQ). As part of our commitment to community engagement, East Norfolk Sixth Form College actively supports local families through a growing programme of holiday camps and activity clubs. These include arts, sports, dance, and multisport sessions delivered on campus, often in partnership with regional initiatives such as the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun (BNHF) programme. The college regularly hosts BNHF holiday activity clubs, providing children with creative sessions, opportunities to stay active, and free hot lunches as part of the government‑funded scheme. James Long
Basketball Coach & Coordinator
James Long is a basketball coach and programme lead based in Great Yarmouth. He’s passionate about helping young players enjoy the game, build confidence, and develop strong fundamentals, whether they’re new to basketball or aiming for competitive pathways. James has grown basketball provision across Norfolk through academy and community programmes, helped expand Great Yarmouth Basketball Club from U11 to adult opportunities, and played a key role in developing the Norfolk Youth Basketball League (NYBL). He’s also worked at regional/national level, including coordinating East Aspire and supporting Basketball England participation programmes (including Jr. NBA).
