What we'll do
We are a friendly holiday club situated at Oakdale primary school, we have use of the outdoor environment which is enclosed and safe. There are large outdoor areas for the children to explore including trim trail equipment, a forest school area and large fields and tennis courts. We base our planning on a child-led basis and take the children's lead as to what they would like to do, we will plan set activities but also listen to the children's ideas and suggestions and make adaptations or include additional activities as requested by the children. We love to bake treats and cook our lunches together at Oakdale and listen to what the children would like to make for their meals, discussing healthy meal options.

Winter Wonderland
Our Winter HAF is available on the 23rd and 24th December and the 2nd January 9am-1pm. *23rd December- We are going to be working together to create Christmas decorations for our holiday club room, we will be making snowflakes, snowmen and paper chains to hang around the room using different materials and of course lots of glitter! We will be baking Christmas cookies and then decorating them to take home to our families. We will be playing pass the parcel and lots of other fun games together. *24th December- Christmas party day! We are going to be having a Christmas disco where the children can dance together and play games such as musical statues and chairs! We are looking to have Christmas crafts available and for the children to also help in cooking their own Christmas dinner together. *02nd January- On our return from the Christmas holidays we are going to be exploring New Years celebrations, we will be creating firework decorations from lots of different materials and watching firework videos. We are going to be baking cakes to take home and also playing team games throughout the session.

Important to note...
*All children must be collected by an adult who is over 18 years old. *All new families must come to the setting prior to HAF starting to fill out enrolment packs and sign contracts *You must supply your child with the appropriate weather clothing and supplies, including sun cream (however if you have difficult with this due to financial constraints please reach out) *Children are not permitted to wear strappy vests tops or open-toed shoes. *We love water fights (so do the children) so it is always advisable to send a spare set of clothes just in case. *We are a nut free setting-no nuts of any kind to be brought onto the site. *We ask all children and parents to respect the school grounds at all times as we are guests using the grounds and we like to return it as it was found.
