Specialist Provision Before booking sessions please read guidance on qualification available on the North Somerset Council HAF web pages We are delighted to inform you that we have had a great opportunity for the summer holidays. ONLY FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ATTEND WESTHAVEN SCHOOL. Our holiday clubs will be filled with lots of activities. Holiday clubs will be a way for children to create friendships, and support their physical, emotional and social skills but most importantly we will be having lots of fun. During our holiday club, children will be offered breakfast, a snack and lunch. All cooked by our onsite school cook who knows the children well. During our summer Holiday club we will be providing... Lower school play day - We have an exciting days planned full of fun and activities! Learners will take part in a range of Summer-themed experiences, including baking, crafting, Middle and Upper School play days - We have some fun day plans for our Summer sessions lots of sports, arts and crafts and cooking :) Once your child's space has been accepted you will receive a confirmation email with specific details for their day.

Understanding Free School Meals for Children in the UK In the UK, there are two primary types of free school meals available for children: Universal Free School Meals Benefits Related Free School Meals 1. Universal Free School Meals Universal Infant Free School Meals are provided for all children in reception year, year 1, and year 2. These meals are automatically available to children upon entering reception and continue until the end of year 2. Parents do not need to apply for these meals as they are granted universally to all eligible children within these school years. 2. Benefits Related Free School Meals Benefits Related Free School Meals are available for children from families receiving certain qualifying benefits. Unlike Universal Free School Meals, these require parents or guardians to apply. Besides providing meals during the school term, qualifying children also gain access to funded Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) sessions, ensuring they receive nutritious meals even during school holidays.
