A summary
This activity is funded by Brighton and Hove Short Breaks. Children with special educational needs and disabilities are eligible to book. The council are asking for a contribution of £5 per hour. Our multi-activity camp offers a range of physical activities and sports to all children. Activities can include boccia, new age kurling, football, basketball, tri-golf, and archery as well as team games, challenges and opportunities for board games, lego and arts and crafts. We also offer dance/drama and musical activities. There is an option to purchase a hot meal. Otherwise please send your child in with a packed lunch and snacks. Our lunch is 12-12:30pm. At our site we are able to offer a range of facilities such as a ball pit, quiet spaces with sofas, quiet and calm outside areas to ensure that children can have some calm time if needed or a space away from the main group. 1:1 support - please select this ticket if your child attends a specialist school OR attends a mainstream school and has 1:1 support. For these bookings we will allocate a dedicated support worker to your child. The aim will be to keep this consistent and the support worker will complete a daily diary and report back to you at the end of the session. Our company SENDCO will be in contact with all parents/carers before the start of the holidays to ensure we fully understand your child's needs and that staff are trained on any specific medication or support. Please ensure you have completed an up to date individual needs form at least 2 weeks before attending.
