A summary
Join Heidi Tambeh, our Active Hastings Adult Weight Management Specialist Instructor, for our new weekly beginner’s exercise class. The class is for people who have been through an Active Hastings Adult Weight Management course or have a BMI over 30. All exercises have adaptions or alternatives to make the class suitable for all levels, with optional floor work. Please bring an exercise mat and water bottle with you. Active Hastings is a partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 30 minutes a day for adults and 60 a day for children to get fitter, healthier and happier. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.
