What we'll do
From choosing and preparing your materials to completing your cordage. This workshop includes how to make basic 2 strand string using a rope lay, understanding "s", and "z" twists, how to ply cords to make cables. For those who wish to take things a step further we will try 3 and 4 strand cordage. String is so useful and versatile that being able to make your own out of foraged materials is a must. It is also rather addictive! Remember - string is thin but rope is thicker, rope is strong but string is quicker.
