What we'll do
Do you feel like a taxi service most days? Would you like the chance to chat with your child, whilst making valuable memories in the great outdoors? We have just the time and space you need! An opportunity to bond with your child in the woodland space at Earlswood Junior School. We will explore relaxation and take time out from our busy lives with some guided chill out time. A chance to create something special from whittling green wood. Learn to build and light a fire to cook some yummy snacks with a hot drink. We will also try some fun and mindfulness games. If you would prefer to book just a child ticket and drop off/collect only then no problem. I love to show people how to craft and whittle with natural materials, learn new games and try relaxing activities. Join us to enjoy this special time!
About your mentor
Rebecca at Leafy Learners
I'm happiest in nature
I am a qualified teacher, Level 3 Forest Schools practitioner, mum, dog owner and lover of the outdoors. I started working with children as a teaching assistant in 2003 at a secondary school and later moved to a primary school, before training as a teacher. I now teach various age groups each week, from nursery upwards and each day is different and fantastic in many ways.
