Yuvanis Cycling Club
Please note, this session is aimed at those who can already cycle confidently on the road.

Join our Yuvanis Cycling Club! You will be part of a supportive group of young people, led by qualified cycling leads who you can cycle with, connect with nature, and become confident at riding along roads, cycle paths, and canals.

The session will begin at our centre at 11am (Yuvanis Foundation, Middleton Road, OL9 6JN), and will involve a riding along a circular route on local roads, canals and parks. We aim to arrive back at our centre by 1pm. However, there may be occasions when we are delayed due to unplanned stops.

Please arrive on time.
Don't worry if you don't have your own bike or helmet; we've got you covered. We will provide you with a bike and helmet to use during the sessions.
Bring a bottle of water. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear, and a waterproof jacket in case of rain.

We will carry out risk assessments prior to each session. If we identify any risks we cannot mitigate on the day such as heavy rain or strong winds, then we may have to cancel that day's session. We aim to give you as much notice as possible whenever we cancel a session. Please ensure you look out for any emails/text messages on the day of each session.

This project is part of the Yuvanis Cycling Club, supported by funding from Transport for Greater Manchester. The programme promotes active lifestyles, cycling skills, and safer travel, while creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, independence, and a strong sense of community through sport and outdoor activity.
