What we'll do
The Foundation Programme is a four-day holiday experience for young people aged 11–14, focused on staying active, having fun, and building confidence in a supportive and welcoming environment. Throughout the programme, young people will enjoy a mix of sports, games, team challenges, and inflatables, alongside plenty of free time to relax, socialise, and recharge. Activities include football, basketball, and outdoor games, with opportunities to take part at their own pace. Alongside the active sessions, participants will take part in short, hands-on workshops such as first aid, cooking, and practical life skills. These sessions are delivered in a relaxed, interactive way and are designed to build confidence, teamwork, and communication through participation rather than formal learning. Young people will also have opportunities to work together in light-touch group activities, helping them build friendships, develop leadership skills, and feel positive about their abilities.
