A summary
These sessions are designed to provide young people with a safe and welcoming space to meet, socialise, and build friendships with their peers. Each session is supported by skilled music tutors from Score Creative, who help participants learn and develop musical abilities through DJ workshops and hands-on experience with a variety of musical instruments. We also provide a healthy evening meal at every session, and young people will be encouraged to take part in preparing and serving the food. In addition to music, there will be opportunities to engage in sports and physical activities such as archery, football, and dance. The Public Health Team will also be joining us each week to deliver engaging, issue-based sessions that support the overall well-being of young people.

WBC Youth Service
Be Healthy, Be Safe , Be Heard
Our youth work service offers lots of activities and one-to-one options to support your personal and social development, if you're aged 11-19. All projects are based on listening to you and working with you to make sure you get the best out of all activities. You can get involved in sessions based on music, art, dance and sports, and also discussions in group situations. We also offer one-to-one support to help you overcome any specific difficulties by working with a dedicated youth worker to set targets and achieve goals. All of our support and activities aim to help you to build self-esteem and confidence, tackle any substance misuse issues, access sexual health advice, and overcome any social, emotional and behavioural difficulties you might be experiencing.

School holidays can be difficult for some families. The cost of extra food, childcare, and activities to keep children active and entertained can be challenging. The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is a scheme funded by the Department for Education. It gives children who are eligible for benefit related free school meals the opportunity to take part in fun, enriching activities and receive a healthy meal.
