A structured and engaging 4-hour holiday provision for young people aged 10–16, offering a wide range of enriching activities including cooking sessions with a focus on food hygiene, interactive mental health and wellbeing workshops, creative arts and crafts, and a variety of sports. YMCA - Heart of England
Supporting young people and families.
YMCA Heart of England delivers a wide range of services across Coventry, Warwickshire, Birmingham, and Solihull. The Youth and Community Team works with young people (YP) and families to inspire young people to discover their potential and empower them to live life in all its fullness. We have been delivering youth group provision in Coventry—particularly in Willenhall—for over 20 years, building strong relationships within the community. In addition, we work in partnership with schools, offering mentoring and workshops to support young people’s personal development and wellbeing. We also collaborate with local family hubs and community centres, providing support at events and helping families access information, advice, and services.

Our holiday camp will run across two centres in Willenhall and Binley, offering a varied and engaging timetable of activities (available on our Facebook page) designed to keep young people aged 10–16 motivated and involved each day. Sessions include cooking with a focus on food hygiene, where participants will gain practical skills, alongside opportunities to take part in street first aid training and receive a certificate. We will deliver a wide range of sports suitable for all abilities, as well as creative arts and crafts such as T-shirt design and mood jars to support self-expression and mental wellbeing. The programme also features team-building activities, board games, music, and workshops delivered by exciting external providers, ensuring a fun, inclusive, and enriching experience for all young people.
