YMCA Childcare St Margarets Holiday Club

At YMCA Childcare we believe that children deserve the best possible start to their education. To support this, we offer a range of safe, secure, and happy environments in which children feel confident and ready to learn. In our setting, your child will be supported by experienced staff who are all committed to providing quality, education, and support. A member of staff will work with you and carers to ensure the provision provides what is right for your child’s particular needs and interests. At YMCA Childcare, we know that learning through play helps children develop at their own pace; having fun, making friends, and learning as they play to become confident, secure children – developing early skills that will prepare them for the school life. Children take part in a variety of child-chosen and adult-led activities. We operate ‘free-flow play’ where children can move indoors and outdoors of their own free will throughout the day. Activities are always planned around your child’s interests and next steps, and may include messy play, books, role play, creative, construction, investigation, heuristic play, and sensory play. Your child will also have access to a large outdoor space, where play is encouraged no matter the weather.
