A summary

Through a selection of increasingly complex forms, the children will be given tools to start their exploration of woven Celtic knotwork. We'll start with simple under-over patterns, with rope, bodies and colour, before working up to more challenging pieces.
The freehand techniques learned will support the children's eye for spatial balance, colour sensitivity and overall presentational beauty, whilst simultaneously developing their capacity for judgement in an artistic manner.
