Wildwoods After School Club

For children aged 4-11 Coton school collection now available! Fridays 4-6 We are now offering collection from Coton primary school! For a small additional charge, one of our fully DBS checked adults will meet your child outside school and walk them to our site at Whitwell Farm. We will register them, have at least a 1:8 adult :child ratio and will bring our trolley to help carry the bags. All you will need to do let your child's teacher know, and pack an additional snack so they are fully ready for play! After a hard day in the classroom children can enjoy the freedom of the woods including tree climbing, slackline balancing, den-building and woodland crafts and games! We will also teach them how to use simple tools and how to light a campfire so we can enjoy hot drinks and campfire snacks together. We follow the Forest School ethos so, whilst sessions have a simple structure, your child will spend most of their time following their own interests, playing, exploring and learning new skills. They will need: To be wearing suitable clothes (see 'practical details' found on the navigation bar at the top of the home page) A change of clothes in a bag A water bottle A hat and sun cream already applied if it is sunny. Any medication in labelled bag or box which we will collect in for the session.
