A summary
Learn about the fascinating world of Bees and Butterflies at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. We will begin outside in the log circle and find out about the different types of bees and butterflies and their importance as pollinators. We will learn how to identify different species and what can be done to help them where we live. Using your own home made Bumble Bee ID chart and a Butterfly spotter sheet we will then explore the reserve to see what we can find. Back in the classroom we will make a bee or butterfly brooch to take home.
