What we'll do
Weather permitting young people will get to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities which could bush craft skills, making mammal trackers, screen printing using natural materials, den building, roasting marshmallows over a fire in Old Speckled Woods and other fun and engaging activities. If it's too damp outside they will get to participate in nature based activities inside. Our experienced staff have a decades of experience working in conservation and working with children and young people; they are responsive to the participants feedback and will work the group to ensure young people are get a chance to do their favourite activities. For older participants this can also be used as a work experience opportunity. Please give us a call or email to find out more: HAF@groundwork.org.uk ***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Children we care for. Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***
