A summary

In this session we will be exploring some ideas for music activities which are really accessible, using the landscape and setting and drawing inspiration from our surroundings. These activities are aimed at developing listening and communication skills, and nurturing creativity. Whilst they are aimed at young people with SEN, they could be equally used in mainstream settings.
I will provide instruments as needed, but please feel free to bring your own or not - many of these activities do not require specialist equipment.

Musician of the woods

Caelia Lunniss

Having spent many years being a musican/music facilitator and Forest School Leader in parallel, I got to thinking about how amazing it would be to fuse the two and create a programme of music-centred forest school sessions, and have since been running these for SEN groups. And I love it!
