Auditioning for anything is stressful at the best of times but imagine what it’s like to do your first one as a trans person. You’re finally playing the role you feel you were born to play IRL, but can you convince someone to cast you in that role in fiction too?
This piece is presented as part of the Black Sheep Collective’s Artists’ Development, with support from dramaturg, Georgia Tillery-Randak. The performance takes place during the QueerAF festival launch, and includes entry to IDENTITY, a student art exhibition.

Black Sheep Collective provides theatre and performance workshops for children, young people and adults. The sessions are affordable, inclusive and remove the pressure of stage school provision. Black Sheep Collective nurtures creative expression and supports participants in developing their skills and confidence in authentic collaborative opportunities. The groups will work towards termly sharing's and annual performances.
