What we'll do

Welton Waters Adventure Centre will be providing a series of fun and engaging experiences across 4 days: These days will include activities on the water such as paddle boarding, kayaking and water confidence, land based activities such as team games, arts and crafts. Alongside this we are also providing animal interactions and Forest Schools skills with our partners at Shetland Pony and Friends Animal Therapy, all on our site in Brough. Outline for the day: 9:30 - Arrival and sign in 9:45 - Induction 10:00 - Activity 1 12:00 - Lunch 12:45 - Activity 2 14:45 - Change and pick up

Welton Waters Adventure Centre

helping people access the outdoors

WWAC opened in May 2012 and over the years we have worked with a wide cross section of the community including: schools, disability groups, community groups, and women’s groups and youth organisations. As an organisation we are particularly interested in giving opportunities to sections of the community that traditionally would not participate in outdoor activities.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST SIGN IN ON ARRIVAL, AND ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BEFORE 9:30 ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST SIGN OUT BEFORE DEPARTING All participants MUST bring a change of clothes, towel and footwear appropriate for rough muddy ground. Welton Waters Adventure Centre CANNOT provide personal care for participants. If your child requires this then please contact ERYC to learn about the options they provide, or speak with your regular provider.
