What we'll do
We will meet at Watergrove car park in wardle (Free car park) where we will be joined by 2 Therapy dogs kindly volunteering their time with their owner to meet and greet us. We'll get the chance to say hello, stroke them and get some photos. This is a great opportunity for any young girls to overcome any worries and fears they have of dogs. Therapy dogs are licensed dogs also known as 'Comfort dogs', who are trained to be caring, loving and help support young people and adults mental health. After some time with the dogs we will start our easy walk around the reservoir. The walk will be led by myself, Sahar. We'll stop for breaks and refreshments and the girls will get a chance to rest and enjoy the view. Pls wear suitable footwear and bring some water or anything else you'll need for the walk. The walk will be approximately one hour. Adults wanting to join can do as long as they are accompanying a young person. Weather The walk will still go ahead even if there is rain!
