Wacky Woods CIC Holiday club FUEL (HAF)

Wacky Woods AP will be delivering a HAF/FUEL holiday programme this summer for children aged 8–12 years. Throughout the programme, children will take part in a wide range of inclusive and engaging activities designed to develop creativity, independence, resilience, teamwork, and positive peer relationships. Activities will include bushcraft, supervised whittling and woodwork, gardening, arts and crafts, outdoor games, peer-to-peer play, and practical campfire experiences. Children will also take part in food preparation and outdoor cooking using campfires and our outdoor pizza oven/ninja oven, helping to build life skills and promote healthy eating habits. We will provide nutritious hot meal and snacks each day. Snacks will include fruit, crackers, breadsticks and other healthy options, while hot meals cooked outdoors may include pizzas, pizza wraps, pork or vegetarian hot dogs, bean chilli with tortilla chips, and chicken and vegetable pittas. Children will also be encouraged to learn about healthy ingredients, making positive food choices, and where food comes from, including opportunities linked to growing produce on site. All activities will be fully supervised and designed to ensure children feel safe, supported, and able to experience a sense of achievement whilst enjoying the benefits of outdoor learning and active play.
