What we'll do
Our HAF programme offers a wide variety of activities designed to meet the interests and needs of all children and young people. This summer’s theme, ‘Wild and Wonderful,’ will encourage children to explore and care for the natural world around them, while taking part in engaging and enjoyable sessions. Children can choose from drama, dance, art, football, sports, outdoor activities, cooking, and nature-based learning. We create a welcoming environment where every child feels supported, can build confidence, discover interests, and learn new skills. We place a strong emphasis on healthy eating, with cooking activities where children prepare meals while learning about nutrition in a hands-on way. Our team ensures all activities are accessible and adapted as needed. We value each child’s unique strengths and provide opportunities to develop both socially and independently. The programme comes to a close with a special trip to Chester Zoo—an exciting highlight for everyone involved.
