What we'll do
Our Easter HAF will run over four exciting days and offers a range of fun and creative activities for children to enjoy. Each day has a different theme so that everyone can try something new, develop skills and have a great time during the Easter break. The activities are designed to encourage creativity, teamwork and confidence while making sure everyone has fun. Day 1 – Easter Arts and Crafts The first day will focus on Easter arts and crafts. Children will make Easter cards and decorate Easter bonnets using a range of craft materials. This activity will allow them to be creative and design their own colourful creations. After the craft activities, everyone will enjoy a hot meal. Later, there will be an Easter bonnet parade where children can show the bonnets they decorated earlier in the day. A special surprise visitor will attend the parade! Day 2 – Sports and Games The second day will focus on sports and games. Children will take part in different physical activities that help them stay active and work together as a team. These activities are designed to be fun and help everyone enjoy moving and playing with others. There will also be an Easter surprise during the day as we welcome another special visitor! Day 3 and Day 4 – Dance and Drama The final two days will focus on dance and drama activities. Children will learn dance routines and work together to create short drama performances. These activities will help them build confidence, teamwork and creativity. At the end of each day, the children will perform what they have practised so they can show their work. Across all four days, children will be provided with healthy snacks and hot meals. They will also have opportunities to help prepare food, which can help them learn about healthy eating and basic cooking skills. Our Easter HAF offers a variety of creative, active and performance activities, giving children a fun and enjoyable way to spend time during the Easter holidays.
