A summary
This imaginative session will invite young people to design and create their own fashion pieces using recycled materials. After a welcome with a snack (such as fruit, vegetable sticks and yoghurt) and drink of water, the group will explore a wide range of materials such as cardboard, scrap fabric, plastic packaging and more. The young people will have the opportunity to transform this trash into something bold and beautiful! Within the session the young people will be offered a hot meal of baked potatoes and a drink. Once the outfits are complete the group will participate in their very own “Trashion Runway” where they have the opportunity to showcase their designs and support each other. The session will combine creativity, teamwork and a growing awareness of sustainability.
