A summary
Develop your skills on the wheel. You will have your own wheel and the opportunity to use a variety of types of clay.
This two day ceramics course offers students the opportunity to develop their throwing skills and understand/apply the techniques of making and controlling thrown pots.
We aim that by the end of the course you:
- Make a range of traditional and experimental forms with control.
- Demonstrate improved levels of skill and technique in the making process
- Apply the principles of throwing in your work
- Work confidently on the wheel.
Small group of 4 people. One space left.
Although this course will concentrate on the throwing part of the process, firing can be discussed and charged separately.
