If your child is between 8 years old and 16 years old AND is a minimum height of 125cm, bring them down to Teamworks Karting to experience an unbelievable go karting experience. We have a fleet of cadet specific karts for our drivers under 12 years of age and larger karts for children up to 16 years of age. Our staff run hundreds of events every month, which include children so we understand how to keep our drivers safe, while having the most amazing time.
But wait, we are not just karting! The venue also provides one of the UK's best Laser tag venues! Participants will battle for supremacy in an exhilarating and unique laser experience. Featuring a multi-level venue with ramps, sniper holes, hidden rooms and perfect dark lighting, it all adds up to an immersive experience like no other. Pointing a laser tag gun at someone, even their eyes, is completely harmless. The Laser light that is emitted is low energy and low frequency. This means that they cannot cause any type of damage, so everyone’s eyes (And their whole bodies) are safe!
We provide all the equipment required and full instruction and no previous experience is necessary.
A responsible adult (Parent or caregiver aged 18+) must remain on site throughout the duration of the event. Children can not be dropped and left for this HAF event.

£0When you arrive
1: Children will arrive at the venue and be checked in. This check in process will include the provision of gloves, race suits, balaclavas, helmets and neck braces.
2: A full race briefing is given as well as a briefing on the Laser tag arena rules.
3: Children will go out for their first race, which will be up to 15 minutes long. During this, they get to experience the thrill of a go kart, around a fantastic circuit
4: Multiple sessions will continue throughout the morning, with a chance to improve in each session, with expert guidance from our race crew.
5: When the children are not on track, they can play Laser Tag in one of the UK's most amazing Laser tag arenas! Join a team and score points as you shoot the opposition with lasers.
5: Other "quiet" activities such as drawing, Jenga and Connect 4 are provided
6: A healthy hot lunch is provided as well as drinks and snacks throughout the event for all participants.
Medical Conditions
Go karting is not recommended for drivers with heart problems, epilepsy or any other conditions where exertion, or sudden braking or bumping would cause an issue. Every participant will need to be able to turn a steering wheel with two hands and be able to press a brake and an accelerator with their left and right feet.
Laser Tag: Our arenas have strobe lighting and so we recommend that people who are triggered by strobe lighting or flickering lights should not play
Please talk to us in advance if you have concerns around your child's suitability to participate. We will do all we can to include children, if it is safe to do so.

As a group, Teamworks Karting has run multiple HAF events, since 2021 and also has a large focus on providing activities for under privileged children, Youth Groups, schools and refugee communities. Teamworks East Midlands, one of the UK’s most exciting indoor karting venues. During HAF events, children can make their dreams come true with specific cadet karts making an amazing motorsport experience accessible to junior racers! It is also game face on for Nottinghamshire’s best Laser Tag arena. Battle for supremacy in an exhilarating and unique laser experience. Multilevel venue, ramps, sniper holes, hidden rooms and perfect dark lighting, add up to an immersive experience like no other. Teamworks East Midlands takes pride in creating a fun, engaging, and positive environment where people can experience the thrill of go karting and the incredible world of laser tag. Our experienced team is highly trained and has years of experience of dealing with children and young people. There will always be first aid certified staff on site, ensuring your child is always in safe and capable hands. The sessions are exciting and fun and children will get the chance to build confidence and make new friends while experiencing some epic events.
