What we'll do
A Forest Bathing Experience in October The forest in October holds a kind of quiet magic—neither the bright buzz of summer nor the stillness of winter, but something in between. The air is cool, edged with the earthy scent of fallen leaves and the faint trace of woodsmoke drifting from distant chimneys. As you step beneath the canopy, the world begins to soften. The trees are in their golden hour—leaves glowing in shades of amber, copper, and ochre, fluttering down like slow confetti. Each step on the path gives a soft crunch, grounding you in the moment. Your breath meets the cool air, visible now, rising like mist as you begin to slow down. A forest bathing walk in October isn’t about hiking or distance. It’s about presence. You’re guided to move gently, without destination, letting your senses lead. You notice the contrast of sunlight slanting through the thinning branches, the textures of bark under your fingertips, the whisper of wind stirring the treetops. You listen—to birdsong, to silence, to the steady rhythm of your own heartbeat returning. The guide offers invitations rather than instructions: to notice, to rest, to receive. Perhaps you sit beneath a tree, watching how the light dances across the forest floor. Maybe you lie back and gaze up at the high canopy, letting your body sink into the earth's quiet embrace. You might gather a small handful of fallen leaves—crimson, gold, curled at the edges—and arrange them in a circle, a gentle act of creativity with no goal but to notice beauty. The experience closes with a simple sharing circle, warm tea brewed from wild herbs, and a sense of something returned. Not added, but remembered—a feeling of belonging, calm, and connection. In October, the forest mirrors the human soul in transition: letting go, changing form, preparing for rest. Forest bathing in this season is like stepping into nature’s threshold space—where we can pause, breathe, and realign. You leave with the cool air on your skin, leaf fragments in your pocket, and a quieter mind. The colours of the forest stay with you, not just in memory, but in your body—reminding you that healing doesn’t always come from doing, but from being, receiving, and simply noticing the world around you.

Where the trees hold space and the silence speaks
As a Forest Therapist with a background in person-centred art therapy, my work is rooted in deep listening—to people, to nature, and to the unseen threads that connect the two. I hold space for others to slow down, reconnect, and remember who they are beneath the noise of modern life. My approach is gentle, creative, and grounded in the belief that healing unfolds naturally when we feel truly seen, heard, and safe. Nature is not just a setting for my work—it is an active participant, a co-therapist, and a timeless source of wisdom and restoration. I believe that the forest speaks to something ancient within us, something we often forget in the rush of everyday life. With a love for storytelling and symbolism, I invite others to explore their inner world through creative expression—using natural materials, intuitive mark-making, and simple yet meaningful rituals. My person-centred approach honours each individual’s pace, truth, and experience, trusting in their innate ability to grow, adapt, and find their way back to themselves. My work is also inspired by a deep reverence for the turning of the seasons and the cyclical nature of life. I am drawn to the ancient rhythms of the Earth—the wheel of the year, ancestral wisdom, and the ways our inner seasons reflect the outer landscape. Whether it’s sitting in stillness with autumn leaves, walking barefoot on spring soil, or honouring the thresholds of solstices and equinoxes, I offer practices that help people reconnect to a sense of belonging—both within themselves and within the wider web of life. Grounding, presence, creativity, and earth-based spirituality are at the heart of all I do. I don’t believe in fixing people—I believe in creating space for them to remember who they are.
