What we'll do
The Somali Women’s Group has been serving and supporting families within our community for three decades. We are excited to announce that our Summer Playscheme is returning for 2025, offering a wide range of enriching activities designed to keep children aged 5 to 12 active, engaged, and inspired throughout the summer months. This programme aims to promote physical activity, teamwork, and learning in a fun and supportive setting. Activities include dodgeball and multisports, encouraging teamwork and agility; football and basketball to promote fitness and social skills; tennis and swimming to develop coordination and confidence; and educational workshops that foster creativity, problem-solving, and lifelong learning. We look forward to welcoming children back for a summer filled with fun, friendship, and personal growth.
