The Secret Chapter offers calm, small-group oral storytelling experiences for children. It’s a
place to relax, imagine, and connect; with stories, ideas, and each other.
Sessions are playful and participatory, giving children the chance to explore language,
creativity, and imagination in a calm, welcoming environment, without pressure, noise, or
expectation.
Through gentle storytelling, imaginative games, and shared play, children can listen, share,
and build confidence, discovering the joy of stories and the freedom to use their voices... all
in a cosy, quietly magical space.

Storytelling Content Note:
Our sessions explore traditional fairy tales in their original storytelling form. These stories often include magical and imaginative themes such as danger, transformation, trickery, moral choices, witches, giants, and dark or mysterious settings.
These elements are presented in a safe, guided, and age-appropriate storytelling environment.

The Secret Chapter offers guided, oral storytelling sessions for children, designed to feel calm, welcoming, and gently imaginative. Sessions are small-group and participatory. Children help shape stories through ideas, choices, voices, and play. There is no pressure to read or write, and no emphasis on grammar, spelling, or performance - avoiding unnecessary barriers to enjoying language. The goal is always exploration, connection, and fun, rather than a polished outcome.
