The Pinnacle Climbing Centre

**Spaces are limited to one booking per day and six bookings per child throughout this holiday.**

The Camps are great fun and give all the participants the opportunity to try everything we have here at the centre. It starts at with an introduction, safety brief and group warm up. After this, the instructors will take them to undertake a range of activities:

ROPED CLIMBING
Roped climbing is climbing on higher walls and using a rope for protection if you fall and to lower the you back to the ground. You will be climbing our main wall, with over 60 ropes lines to choose from which goes up to 12.5 meters in high.

BOULDERING
Bouldering is climbing without a rope in a dedicated bouldering area, up to 4.5m in height, where there is a continuous surface of large safety matting. Never bouldered before? Our friendly instructors will be on hand all day to introduce you to the wonderful world of bouldering!

CAVING
This is an awesome indoor caving system designed to simulate an outdoor cave in a safe environment. With over 50 metres of twisting and turning, clambering and tunnelling that’s both fun and challenging. Boulder squeezes, hidden chambers and the awesome ball pool sump are all waiting to be discovered in our unique underground world.

PIZZA DINNER

Pizza will be provided for each participant. If you have any dietary requirements please contact the centre at least 24 hrs before your session.

THIS IS A STRUCTURED DAY OF ACTIVITIES AND PARTICIPANTS ARE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES BY ONE OF OUR FRIENDLY AND FULLY QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS.

These are fun sessions designed to get kids doing some climbing and having lots of fun! Depending on the group and their interests, we might cover some technical skills, or movement training.

We have electronic forms online, (please find link here) https://portal.thepinnaclecentre.co.uk/climb/agreements/Instruction%20Form which this needs to be completed before coming to the centre. Please fill in the ‘INSTRUCTION FORM’ this can be completed on a mobile, tablet or PC. If you have any problems doing this beforehand, you can fill it in on arrival. We will need this form completing even if you are staying on site on this occasion, the form will only need to be filled in on or before your first visit and it will give you flexibility in the future.

If you have any medical condition which we need to know about, please complete a ‘MEDICAL DECLARATION’ form here https://portal.thepinnaclecentre.co.uk/climb/agreements/Medical%20Form please ensure that if there is any medication required such as inhalers that your child has this with them and can administer it themselves.

On the day, please turn up a few minutes before the start so we can sort out shoes, check the forms you have filled out and show you where to put your belongings (all our lockers take a £1 coin which is returned).

You will need to stay with your child until the start time of their session and be here ready at the finish time to collect your child.

All the necessary equipment for the session is included and we will provide your child with climbing shoes to wear during the session. Appropriate clothing would be normal sportswear, (e.g. tracksuit, trousers and a long sleeved t-shirt/jumper).
