Indoor Bouldering Sessions for a Happy Healthy School Holidays

Our HAF Easter Indoor Bouldering sessions provide children with a fun, active introduction to climbing in a safe and supportive indoor environment. The session begins with a short welcome and warm-up to get everyone moving and ready to climb. Qualified instructors will then introduce the basics of bouldering, including how to climb safely, how to fall safely, and how to approach different climbing routes.

Participants will have the opportunity to try a variety of bouldering challenges designed for different abilities. Instructors will offer guidance and encouragement, helping children develop climbing techniques such as balance, grip, foot placement, and problem-solving skills as they work their way up the wall.

Throughout the session, children will take part in fun climbing games and small challenges that build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. There will be plenty of time for practice and exploration, allowing participants to progress at their own pace while being supported by staff.

The session ends with a cool-down and a short group reflection where children can share their achievements and celebrate what they’ve learned. All equipment is provided, and experienced staff supervise the activity at all times to ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

About your mentor

The Climbing Hangar Liverpool North (Sandhills)

Happier, healthier lives through bouldering!

The Climbing Hangar Liverpool North (Sandhills)

The Climbing Hangar started life in a Liverpool warehouse in 2011. Since then we’ve grown to become a national business with 11 sites, hundreds of employees, and over thousands of climbers coming through the doors every month. Our mission is simple – to inspire bolder living through indoor climbing But what does that even mean? It means inspiring people to test themselves, feel great, and be a part of a community of psyched, like-minded people. Some Hangar climbers eat, sleep, live, and breathe this crazy sport. Others run, swim, cycle, surf, dance, paint, draw, do whatever it takes to make them happy and fulfilled. We don't care what you do, as long as you give it your best, and you're nice to people and the planet while you're doing it. Here at TCH, we are passionate about climbing, but we’re also passionate about the impact that a social, challenging, supportive, progressive and fun activity can have on people’s lives, regardless of ability, age, or fitness. Everything about the Hangar experience is designed to be easy to access, inclusive, and friendly so you feel right at home, right away. Because the Hangar is more than a gym, it's a hub. It's the starting point for a wide variety of stories. Stories about trying hard, doing your best, and changing people's lives.
