What we'll do

Get ready for a winter full of creativity and tech magic! Join us this festive season for a one-of-a-kind Tech Camp packed with imagination, innovation, and plenty of Christmas cheer! Children will dive into hands-on projects that bring technology and creativity together in the most magical way. ✨ What’s On This Christmas Each day features a brand-new theme to keep children excited and inspired! Light-Up Christmas Cards – design and build glowing festive cards using simple circuits. Magical Minecraft – explore a winter wonderland while learning creative coding. Ingenious Inventions – invent and build mini gadgets to take home. Rocking Robots – build, code and control your own moving robot. Festive Filming – star in and produce your own Christmas movie masterpiece! Hot Lunch & Active Play Each child will receive a hot, nutritious lunch daily to keep them fueled for fun. Alongside the tech adventures, children will enjoy outdoor games and physical activities — perfect for staying active, making friends, and burning off that Christmas energy! Running two sessions, one 9am-1pm and one 12pm-4pm daily for children aged 5–11, our Christmas Tech Camp combines learning, laughter, and festive fun in one unforgettable experience. This booking section is for children and young people with disabilities or additional needs (SEND). At Next Thing Education, we have a designated and SEND trained team in place who will support your child to have the best time with us at Tech Camp. We also have specific resources and activities to cater for certain needs. The session is targeted at children who require significant additional support to integrate & participate in holiday activities on a 1:3 staffing ratio. We regret that we’re unable to take children who require 1:1 support at this time. We are also unable to support intimate care needs.  Please ensure you state the needs on your child when booking and we may call you to discuss in more detail if needed so we can ensure we have everything in place to support your child. If your child does not have additional needs, please book via the other booking block at this site. PLEASE NOTE BOOKINGS CLOSE ON WEDS 17TH DECEMBER for this block.

At Next Thing Education Camps, we offer a range of unique technology activities to support the development of children’s teamwork, resilience and wider educational attainment. We are experts in STEM activities where children are given the opportunity to become coders, inventors, creators and engineers using the latest and greatest tech, often out of reach for students. Our camps are aimed at ages 5 – 11 taught by staff who give the children the best experience possible. We always push the boundaries, updating and exploring new technology so that we can offer something different and even more awesome at every camp.

Application process

Next Thing Education welcomes all children including those with special educational needs / disabilities to attend and participate in our camps. As you’ve marked additional needs on your booking, we need to assess the needs and support available before this is accepted. Please complete the form below. The decisions on how best to include children on our camps are made on a case-by-case basis. Please note that we cannot provide 1:1 staff support or support for some specific medical, physical or behavioural requirements. Child safety is our top priority, so we reserve the right to cancel a booking if a child's individual needs are beyond our remit.
