A summary
Your child will enjoy a day in the outdoors, with a mix of land and water based activities. This will be an active day and activities may be adjusted to suit the weather. We will have lunch around a fire, with marshmallows. Please do not bring mobile phones or electronic devices!
Please note that places are limited so only book onto days that you intend to attend, or cancel as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend, so people on the waiting list have a chance to come!
These activity days will be fully supervised by our experienced team of friendly outdoor leaders.
The instructors taking care of your children all hold an enhanced DBS check and are first aid trained. They are very experienced in working with young people and are suitably qualifed for the activities that they will be running. Talkin Adventures holds an AALA licence with HSE. Provider reference: R2398.

These activity days will be fully supervised by our experienced team of friendly outdoor leaders. Please let us know on the booking form if your child has any special medical or dietary requirements. Wear sensible clothing and footwear, and remember coats, hats, sun cream, etc.. You will need to bring a FULL CHANGE OF CLOTHES, towel, and spare shoes. Old trainers or water shoes are best, no sandals or crocs please.
Please note that participants SHOULD NOT BRING MOBILE PHONES/DEVICES. This is an outdoor adventure experience and screens are not appropriate. Parents/Carers should take phones for the duration of your child's time with us. We have your contact details and will call if there are any issues.
We'll meet you by our waterfront cabin at Talkin Tarn, which is where you'll collect your child at the end of the day.
A cold lunch is included. This includes a selection of sandwiches, fruit, tray bakes, crisps, etc..

Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.
My experience is an educational activity, and the ‘14-day cooling period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.
