A summary
Short Breaks are offering a number family trips throughout the Summer break open to children with SEND and their immediate family ONLY.
*Please only book into TWO TRIP sessions. If you book into more than TWO sessions your FIRST TWO choices or correct bookings will be allocated to you and you will be cancelled off any other bookings. Families can only choose one trip out of the borough, the other session needs to be within Newham. If preferred, you can book 2 session in Newham.*
Take Better Photos on iPhone at the Apple store in Stratford.
Go deeper with photography by experimenting with the camera on iPhone in our 60-minute workshop. Learn how to set up your shot, try out new techniques and explore features as well as editing tools in a series of fun activities. Bring your iPhone or we’ll provide the latest.
For sessions with amplified sound, hearing loop technology is available on request.
AS THIS IS A SHORTER SESSION YOU ARE ABLE TO BOOK TWO APPLE SESSION PLUS ANOTHER ACTIVITY. PLEASE NOTE IT CANNOT BE SWITCHED FOR ANOTHER ACTIVITY AND ONLY IF STILL AVAILIABLE.

Once you have booked your spaces they will be held until they are either accepted or declined. If your booking is incorrect (for example you have not added an adult to the booking) or you have booked onto too many sessions. The listing will be closed 5 working days before the event.
Short Breaks Trips
The trips are for families with a child with SEND only. To qualify for the sessions at least one child within your immediate family (up to 17 years old) will have special educational needs and/or disability (SEND).
You will be asked to send proof of disability to ensure your place, please this over to shortbreaks@newham.gov.uk
Please also note that all short break trips sessions have minimal staffing so parents and carers will need to supervise their children at all times on all sessions.
A family can have up to 2 adults 4 children. Siblings are welcome. Bookings are limited to 6 per family. Please contact shortbreaks@newham.gov.uk directly if more spaces are required.

Activities for children and young people with additional needs There is a variety of activities in Newham that children and young people with special educational needs or disability can take part in. Some of these activities may be specifically for children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities, others may be for all children and young people. Often these activities are run by people or groups independent of us. We are with community groups and schools to help make sure that all events and activities are as accessible as possible
