Swimming Holiday Camp @ Moorings Way Infants

Dive into an exciting summer of swimming, where children can develop new skills, build confidence in the water and enjoy a fun, supportive learning environment. Designed for swimmers of varying abilities, each week focuses on developing core techniques, water confidence and overall swimming performance through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Children will work on stroke development, breathing techniques, water safety, stamina and aquatic skills through structured coaching sessions and fun challenges. Whether they are looking to improve their technique, gain confidence in the water or continue progressing their swimming journey, every session is designed to support individual development while making learning enjoyable and rewarding.

Up to 12 children can be in the pool at a time, when your child is not taking part in the pool based activities, they will instead be participating in our multi-activity holiday camp. Within the multi-activity camp your child will: Be active through games, sports and challenges; Build confidence and social skills in a supportive group; Make new friends and feel part of a team; Have space to be creative and calm when they need a break; Learn about healthy eating and nutrition in simple, hands-on ways; Enjoy a free, nutritious meal and snacks

We focus on effort, kindness and enjoyment, not on “being the best”.

How we run the day

Across the day, we:
- Start with energising games so everyone feels included from the first minute
- Rotate children through different sports and activities, tailored to age and ability
- Use small-sided games to keep every child involved and moving
- Build in quieter zones and creative sessions to rest, reset and express themselves
- Run fun, practical food and nutrition activities that help children understand how to fuel their bodies
- End the day by celebrating what children have tried, learned and enjoyed

Who our camps are for

Our team is experienced in working with children of different ages, abilities and needs. We adapt every activity so your child can join in at their own pace.

If cost, confidence, additional needs or previous experiences have been a barrier, we’ll work with you to find an approach that works. Your child doesn’t need any experience or special kit – just comfortable clothes, a drink bottle and a willingness to have a go.
